Help Create Wheaton's Bike Plan

Active Trans has been contracted by the City of Wheaton to develop a bike plan, which is expected to be completed during fall 2010. We're excited to begin the process of creating the plan. But firsst we need to hear from the experts: Wheaton residents. We want to hear what you think would make your community more bicycle-friendly. Attend a public meeting June 9 to tell us where you are already biking and where you wish you could bike.

Active Trans and city officials are particularly interested in learning about common roads used for cycling in the city and potential bicycling programs that the city could establish.

When: 7 p.m. June 9, 2010
Where: Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton.
