Name: Juantiki Jones
Location: Chicago

How do you usually get around?
The Metra. Each morning I walk about a half-mile to the train stop in my neighborhood and ride the train downtown. Then I walk about another half-mile. On average the train ride is about 15-20 minutes. On weekends I usually find myself carpooling with family and friends.

What is the best part of your commute?
The sights. Chicago in the spring and summertime is the most beautiful place to me. I love the sights and sounds of the city. Many times on the way home I'm able to catch news about things happening in the city while I walk, and of course there's nothing like window shopping.

Do you have a regular place you sit?
Yes, especially on the way home. My stop is not a normal stop for the train so they have selected a car for everyone on my stop. Plus we're instructed to inform the conductor while he checks the tickets.

What do you think surprises most people about Metra?
Efficiency. The common thinking is that the trains and buses in Chicago are always late. I think people will be surprised to find that this is not true. The trains usually come exactly when they are scheduled.

Quick! Come up with a name for a new train line that reflects current events in the news.
SkyWay, especially if they plan on making the trains go faster.
