22 |  Wheeling Wheelman St. Patrick’s Day Ride: Routes of 16, 20 and 36 miles wind through beautiful Northeast Illinois over quiet secondary roads with SAG support. Register for $10 from 8 to 10:30 a.m. the day of the ride
at Wauconda High School, 555 N. Main St., Wauconda. Children under 12 ride free. Find out more here.

30 |  Ride of Silence planning meeting: Help plan this year’s Ride of Silence. Meet at REI at 7:30 p.m. to plan the upcoming ride in May. Contact Elizabeth at rideofsilence.Chicago@gmail.com for more information. The Ride of Silence is a free ride, hosted in hundreds of cities worldwide, that aims to raise the awareness of motorists, police and city officials that cyclists have a legal right to the public roadways. The ride is also a chance to show respect for those who have been killed or injured.
