Sign up now to kick off your summer with a car-free bike ride on Lake Shore Drive
Register before prices go up May 9th

Sign up now to take advantage of four hours of car-free biking on Chicago's famous Lake Shore Drive on Sunday, May 29. The MB Financial Bank Bike the Drive is a family-friendly event that is great for everyone. Choose from our 15- and 30-mile options or feel free to use one of the many turnaround points for a more leisurely ride. Register at www.bikethedrive.org.

This fundraising event for the nonprofit Active Transportation Alliance includes a full morning of uninterrupted bicycling, hundreds of helpful volunteers, chances for you and your group to take a break at rest stops and a fun-filled post-ride festival.

We've got snacks to keep you fueled and ensure you have a spectacular ride. After your ride, swing by the festival for delicious breakfast options from Goose Island Catering. Then stick around to groove with the Bluz Brothers, a Blues Brothers tribute band.

Enjoy family activities at the CLIF Kid Area, check out great gear from Kozy's Cyclery and then stop by the Big Top Tent to meet up with representatives from your local cycling clubs and local cycling-related organizations!

Feeling the spirit? Get a group together with some fantastic costumes and sign up for our Snazzy Ride contest! Participants get to register at a special low price. The most creatively dressed or decorated group will win free registrations to the 2012 event.

Additional registration options include the Two-Ride Package, featuring registration for MB Financial Bank Bike the Drive and our newly-introduced Four-Star Bike Tour on August 29--a ride that expands upon the popular Boulevard Lakefront Tour.

Get a special price when you sign up for both of these rides and join the nonprofit Active Transportation Alliance, Chicagoland's voice for better biking, walking and transit.

Visit our sponsors at the festival to enjoy free samples of Muscle Milk; bring your Schwinn bike to Schwinn booth for a free T-shirt or bell, and then register to win a free bike from REI!
