The Evanston Bicycle Club is holding its 26th annual North Shore Century on Sunday, September 12, 2010.

The North Shore Century offers incredibly scenic biking along Lake Michigan on routes of 25, 50, 62, 70 and 100 miles through towns and villages from Evanston to Wisconsin. Riders pedal down tranquil tree-lined streets, experience luxurious neighborhoods, view unique architectural treasures, and feel the refreshing breezes of Lake Michigan.

There are frequent rest stops stocked with home-baked goodies. Sags and bike mechanics are provided along all routes. Helmets are strongly urged. Hope to see you there!

PLEASE NOTE!! Due to construction on Sheridan Road, the NSC's usual starting and ending location at Dawes Park is changed this year only to EVANSTON TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL. (The high school is a little over a mile west from Dawes Park.)
