meet 9:00 am / ride starts 9:30 am near Lincoln Square in the small park adjacent to Cafe Selmarie 4731 N. Lincoln Ave. (Near Western Ave. & Lawrence Ave.) Parents- Ride with your kids. (Bike trailers, Kid Seats & Add-a-bikes welcome for the little ones). Kids on their own bikes will stay together and explore the neighborhood and enjoy the fun, parade and spectacle of a group mass bike ride. Parents are required to accompany their children while tour guides lead the route and assist in navigating intersections and stopping points. Riders are expected to wear helmets during the tour. Tours are free and open to the public. Invite your friends to come! Activities: first 30 minutes before ride starts Each event will start with safety/rules of the road instruction & bike checks, and kid-focused bike decoration workshops (some materials provided, but bring your own ideas and decorations too!) Possibly balloons, face painting, music and other fun activities... Then we are on the road in a carefully chaperoned ride on the local side streets, boulevard’s access lanes, and bike paths.
