The 49th Ward is ripe with opportunities to make your neighborhood better for biking, walking and transit.

Ald. Joe Moore is using a participatory budgeting process to decide how to allocate $1.2 million in aldermanic menu money this year. This money can be spent on infrastructure improvements such as bike lanes, sidewalks and street safety improvements.

That means that community members like you will have a say in which projects get funding. We are asking you to speak up on behalf of cyclists, pedestrians and transit riders to make your neighborhood a better place to live, work and play.

Attend an upcoming committee meeting:
7 PM at the Ward 49 Service Office, 7356 N. Greenview
March 15 - Transportation (bike, sidewalk and train station improvements)
March 24 - Traffic Safety

Vote on the budget
April 5-9 – Early Voting
April 10 – Voting Assembly
