Lake Trek Car-Free Celebration

When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept 26

Where: Loyola Park to Navy Pier

What: 10-mile Lakeshore Walk – Lake Trek This year I am walking all the way around Lake Michigan and am opening up the last 10 miles of the trek  for people to walk with me. They can join me at any point along my route from Loyola Park to Navy Pier. Here are the approximate times I'll be moving south along this 10-mile stretch of the lakeshore (and I'll be walking as close to the water as I can along this route):

9am: Meet at Loyola Park where W. Touhy Ave ends at the beach.
11am: Passing through Lincoln Park near Montrose Harbor
1pm: Leaving Lincoln Park
Between 1:30-2pm: Arrive on the end of Navy Pier!!

There will be a celebration on Navy Pier and a chartered cruise that walkers and anyone who joins us on Navy Pier may opt to come on (there is a fee for the cruise, which also includes lunch). Full details are available from the link at the top of the sidebar on my blog.
