The Field Museum Car-Free Celebration

What: Chicago's world-renowned natural history museum, The Field Museum, is celebrating Chicagoland Car-Free Day and encouraging all 530 employees to walk, bike and/or take transit to work on Sept. 22. The Museum is dedicated to reversing the effects of climate change through both science and good business management practices. The Museum gives every visitor the opportunity to offset the impact of their travel to the museum and offers employees a pre-tax transit benefit, a bike share program and has been a category leader in the Bicycle Commuter Challenge.
