42BELOW Vodka Presents 1st Annual 42RIDE Bike Series Join 42BELOW and 42RIDE in Chicago on July 8th

WHO: 42 cyclists journey across America to raise money for the Alliance of Biking and Walking

WHAT: Join 42BELOW as they send 42 cyclists out on the 1st Annual 42RIDE, a bike journey across America to benefit the Alliance of Biking and Walking. On June 25th, hundreds of cyclists from across the nation will convene at Columbus Circle in NYC to send off the 42 adventurous cyclists on an unforgettable journey across the country. From New York, the riders will head south to Philadelphia where the 42 riders are divided into two teams heading westward, one touring across the north and the other the south.

42BELOW Vodka is putting out a call to action to take part in supporting the Alliance for Biking & Walking by encouraging tweeters to follow 42RIDE on Twitter. If 100,000 people follow the ride on Twitter, 42BELOW will make a $42K donation to the Alliance pledging 42 cents per person.

Bikers will be arriving in Chicago on July 8th, where 42BELOW will host a welcome party to root them on, serving the brand’s signature Caipiroska 42 cocktail. We have riders from all over the country including a US Marine from New York City, a French sculptor living in Maine, a 73 year old Texan who bikes 8,000 miles/year, and an Iowa resident who has lost over 170 pounds in the last four years due to biking!
