Winter Cycling Workshop

Join DePaul, Loyola, Northwestern, U of C and UIC students at our Winter Cycling Workshop where you'll learn tips and tricks for riding year round. Topics will include: dressing for all kinds of weather, prepping your bike for the elements as well as how to fix-a-flat, lube a chain and the basics of winter bike maintenance.

All of our attendees will receive an REI coupon for 15% off one full priced item of either cycling accessories or other apparel while coupons last.

Why I biked today

Yesterday I had a bad experience with the Blue Line. Long story short, it made me miss a Metra train to the south suburbs so I didn’t make it to a meeting in Hazel Crest.

I love biking in the winter. Drivers are generally going slower, and they pass me with three feet. My ridiculous hot pink snow suit keeps me completely warm, AND it puts a smile on my face.
