35th Ward Student Active Transportation Plan Bike Tour

Date:
07/14/2012

Please join us for a family friendly bike tour of the 35th Ward to learn about the 35th Ward Student Active Transportation Plan. Over the past year, residents have been working with Active Transportation Alliance and Sam Schwartz Engineering, giving input on strategies to make it safer and easier to walk and bike to schools and parks in the 35th Ward. The ideas have been turned into a plan for how to improve conditions for everyone who walks and bikes in the Ward. Please join us on a bike ride to learn about these ideas and how you can get involved in turning those ideas into reality.

This short, family friendly ride will include a bike safety presentation and several stops along a two mile route that highlights some of the ideas contained within the 35th Ward Student Active Transportation Plan.
Parents, children and community members are encouraged to attend.
