Thanks to a stellar cast of Active Trans members, staff, and all-around-town bike riders, the kick-off meeting for the Regional Bike Map Update was a big success.
Germany is showing the world that it is possible to plan a suburb where pedestrians and bicyclists have priority.
The Village of Orland Park will host a public visioning session and open house for the update of the Village's Comprehensive Plan, Wednesday, April 29, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at the Frederick T. Owens Village Hall, 14700 South Ravinia Avenue.
The meeting will include a brief presentation followed by small group discussions and brainstorming sessions. All are welcome to attend. This is an opportunity for residents to identify a shared vision for the Village and express concerns for the future of the Village.
