Routes & lights set for Bike to Film! - "Breaking Away" Thursday night

You've got your Cutters jersey, duct tape for your pedals, tire pump to ward off a scheming Italian racing team, cycling cap (tucked under your helmet, of course) and you're almost set for

Bike to Film! - "Breaking Away" at Park Forest's outdoor movie series!

Date:
08/05/2010

Time: 8:00pm - 10:30pm
Location: Holiday Star Theater, 340 Main Street, Park Forest
Cost: $4/person - Includes a chair!

While necking is easier, would you really want to drive instead of bike to an outdoor showing of "Breaking Away?" Well, maybe, because of the necking thing. But probably no, you wouldn't, because biking at night to the movies is THAT MUCH FUN.

Chairs provided, so you only have to figure out how to carry your picnic basket. Co-hosted by Park Forest Environmental Commission, Folks on Spokes (http://folksonspokes.com), and the Active Transportation Alliance. Fun-ZAM!

Double fun-ZAM: Bike Crash lawyer William Lazarus (http://lazaruslegal.com) and Frankfort shop Plank Road Cyclery (http://plankroadcyclery.com) have partnered with Active Trans to give away 30 Planet Bike Spok lights for cyclists' ride home.

DID YOU KNOW - all roads actually lead to the movie? Your co-host Folks on Spokes proves it with Google and Rails to Trails' routes to the show -
