Are Active Trans Footprints coaches included in ideas for health care reform? No.
From our Footprints Coach, Mike Erickson
Footprints coaches teach back to school bike safety at the Oak Forest Back to School Safety Fair, August 1, 10 AM to 2 PM, in the Food4Less parking lot, 159th St. and Central Ave., Oak Forest, Ill. Kids - and parents too! - bring your bike and your helmet. Footprints coaches will teach proper helmet fit, basic bike safety quick check, and essential bike handling skills. Footprints not only makes the trip to school safer, but can help reduce your carbon footprint by leaving the car at home. For more about Footprints, click here: http://activetrans.org/footprints.
An update from Footprints Coach Mary Lynn Wilson:
'Bolts won! Stretched a 4th inning run into a 3-2 victory over those rotten Rascals, who are also rascally. 13 bike bells ringing clearly rattled the Rascals's batters.
Hey Footprints: how might one ride from, say, Food4Less in Oak Forest to the 'Bolts stadium in Crestwood? Like tonight, for instance?
