There are plenty of ways you can get involved. Get your friends and neighbors together and organize your own event!

• Discounts for customers with bike helmets or transit cards

• A Walk to School Day
• A Shop Local Day
• Block parties and festivals

 Car-Free Day resolutions

Last year, the City of Chicago and the Village of Skokie both declared Sept. 22 Car-Free Day.  You can encourage your town or village to declare the day Car-Free Day, too. Use this sample resolution.
