Section of Prairie Path's Batavia Spur temporarily closed

NICOR Gas Company has closed part of the Batavia Spur of the Illinois Prairie Path (IPP) to perform some work on their right-of-way, which is part of the IPP.

A detour route around the closure is depicted on the attached map. The detour will be in effect until October.

Starting on the east, the detour moves westward using a side path along Ferry Road. At Eola Road, the detour heads south along a side path along Eola Road to the Com Ed access path, and back to the Batavia Spur. Signs have been posted to guide trail users.
