Let there be light

Almost 150 more bicyclists are riding safely and legally at night after last nights headlight giveaway. The headlights were generously donated by the Law Offices of James M. Freeman. Lawyer Jim was out there with us stopping headlight-less bicyclists and explaining that Illinois law requires a front headlight at night. "If you're going to wear one light, it should be a white headlight."

State law also requires bicyclists wear a red rear reflector.

So many people showed their gratitude and excitement around the new bike accessory. If you are one of them checking our site out for the frist time, take a look around and consider becoming a member!

Thanks again to the Law Office of James M. Freeman for the donation and to the volunteers who stood out in the cold tracking down cyclists.

Thanks

Thanks ATA and Lawyer Jim!! They are nice lights, and I'm a member.
