Air quality alert
The EPA issued an air quality warning for Northwest Indiana and Northeast Illinois.
When this happens in San Franscisco, a Spare the Air Day follows - a day of free transit!

Free transit in SF
It's not true that we have free transit on Spare the Air days in San Francisco. We did one year when there was a very high number of Spare the Air days, but the funding dried up, and we haven't had it in a few years.
