For 36 years, Congressman James Oberstar helped reform the U.S. transportation system by championing federal funding for multi-modal projects and creating the Safe Routes to School program.

Active Trans sent him a letter expressing our gratitude for this wonderful service. Attached is a copy of the letter we sent from our executive director, Ron Burke.
