Champaign-Urbana installs stop for pedestrian signs

Like many communities throughout Illinois, Champaign-Urbana is educating its residents about the Must Stop for Pedestrians law.

New signs have been installed at about 50 crosswalks throughout the University of Illinois campus. The effort was recently featured on the local evening news.

In related news, Geneva, Ill. recently installed new signs telling drivers (and bicyclists) to stop in crosswalks.

Please let us know if you've heard of other communities installing new Must Stop for Pedestrians signs.
