The Forest Park School Travel Plan is a complimentary piece to Forest Parks’ Active Transportation Plan and Complete Streets policy.

The plan includes school walking route maps, recommended signed school routes, and education, encouragement and enforcement initiatives.

The plan was funded by the Model Communities Grant Program, an initiative of the Cook County Department of Public Health.
