Did You Know?

While the Chicago region’s population grew by 18 percent since 1980, the traffic increased by 66 percent in the same period.

Potential bike commuter seeks free-wheeling mate

Good news! Pace expands carpooling matching system to bikes.

Here is your chance to help another person commute on two wheels!

Pace has just added bicycles to its free Rideshare commuter matching system. The new service will help cyclists all over Chicagoland find a happier ride with each other.

There are thousands of budding new bike commuters out there. They’ve got their tires filled, their chains lubed and now all they need is you!

We want you to register for this free program and be an expert bike buddy for someone in your community.

Here is how it works:

  1. Go to www.pacerideshare.com and create an account. Make sure to choose the bike option!
  2. Type in your origin, destination and general schedule and see who comes up.

More matches can only happen when more cyclists register. So sign up now!

Happy riding!

P.S. Since the project is still new, we look to you – the true expert – to test it out and let Pace know about any bugs. Click on the ‘support’ tab to provide feedback.
