Blackstone Bicycle Works loses 400 bikes in a fire, needs financial help

We just learned the sad news that our nonprofit friend, Blackstone Bicycle Works, lost 400 bikes in a fire over Labor Day weekend. The Hyde Park Herald current issue has the full story.

Blackstone Bicycle Works, housed at the Experimental Station in the Hyde Park and Woodlawn neighborhoods, is one of several local youth bike education nonprofits that works hard to offer bike services and education to kids and neighbors in underserved communities.

Not again!

Thanks

Thanks for getting the word out about this. I've written my check and will have it in the mail today.
