  • Providing bicyclists and pedestrians access to compensation in hit and run crashes
  • Protecting electric bike riders rights
Thanks to our legislative champions for biking, walking and transit:

Bicycle Bridge

What is the status of the long ago planned bike bridge across the North Branch Channel at Lincoln Avenue? I spoke some time ago with Ald. Stone and he didn't seem to understand the serious safety issues for bikers traveling through that junction. It appears that the foundations were put in place when the path was improved on the east side of the channel, but nothing has been done since. Is funding an issue or politics?
