Help improve biking, walking and transit on Green Bay Road

The Village of Kenilworth in Chicago's North Suburbs is in the early stages of creating a Green Bay Road Corridor and Streetscape Plan. The plan will provide guidance on making Green Bay Road easier and safer for all roadway users, including people that walk, bike and use transit.

If you use the Green Bay Road in Kenilworth, now is the time to share your ideas about how the corridor could be improved.

You can participate online to create a map of your ideas, visit the project website to stay informed on the plan’s progress, or stop in at the Kenilworth Club any time from 2-8 p.m. on November 29 for the first community workshop.

Planning Workshop & Charrette
Thursday, November 29, 2 p.m.-8 p.m.
The Kenilworth Club, 410 Kenilworth Ave., Kenilworth

The plan will also address the visual character of the corridor so that -- as investment in infrastructure occurs over time -- the end result complements the community.

The Active Transportation Alliance is helping with the project as it relates to the Green Bay Trail, as well as bicycle and pedestrian access to the Metra station and businesses along Green Bay Road.
