The Oak Street Bend to Ohio Street section of the Lakefront Trail has seen some attention recently.
I rode the Lakefront Trail this Monday (2/22) afternoon from Ardmore to Jackson and although there is a bit of slush here and there, it is in generally good condition and easily rideable, even with
I rode the Trail tonight, Wednesday, 2/10 (~9pm) from Belmont north to Ardmore and in spite of all the recent snow, the trail was in really good shape.
I just rode the Lakefront Trial from Ardmore to Grand at 8:00 p.m. this Monday (2/8) night and the Trail is in much better condition than it was on Sunday morning.
I rode the Lakefront Trail this Sunday morning (2/7) from Ardmore to 51st St.
The recent warm weather was still not enough to melt all of the ice from the Trail south of Fullerton or all the way around the Oak Street Bend. From the Oak St.
We have not had warm enough weather yet to melt the significant ice just south of Fullerton or around the Oak Street Bend.
I rode the entire length of the Lakefront Trail this afternoon. The south side is generally in good shape.
The Lakefront Trail had a fresh layer of salt from Ardmore to Foster, which should help to melt some of the remaining ice on that section of the Trail.
I rode the Lakefront Trail from Ardmore to North Ave. this Friday (1/8) afternoon. The Trail was plowed and salted for the duration.
